His books mirrors reality, a reflection how a typical Filipino lives and adapts. The subjects in his books mostly cover slice of life of a typical Filipino. Despite his anonymity, his books sells like hotcakes and whenever a new book of him comes out, its always on every bestseller’s lists. He’s been writing for over a decade now and it’s still a mystery as to who he really is and he’s identity is still clouded with anonymity. This book has more stuff that what I expected it to be.īob Ong is a pseudonym of a yet to be identified Filipino writer. Still aimlessly resolving an internal conflict as to what needs to be discussed first. I’m still confused how and what will I tackle first.
And so here I am, days after I finished this book and I still don’t know where to start. So where will I start? Prior to finishing this book, I said to myself that this is the type of book that had to be immediately reviewed after finishing it but after I finished it, I realized that I have a lot of things to say about this book and I should probably take a day off and reflect first before finally start typing on my laptop.
